Urdu

Our professional linguists include native Urdu speakers who are experienced in the nuances of the language and the requirements of effective translation and interpreting.

Urdu is the official language of Pakistan. There are approximately 50 million speakers of Urdu worldwide. Furthermore, Urdu serves as the primary language of Muslims residing in Pakistan and northern India.

The spoken language of Urdu originated from Hindustani, a lingua franca of northern India. Despite the fact that Urdu comes from the same colloquial origin as Hindi, their literary forms are completely different from one another. This is due to the influence of Arabic and Persian on Urdu, and Sanskrit on Hindi. Written Urdu uses a modified version of the Persian Arabic alphabet.
